As part of its ongoing support of the sport of gymnastics, GK supplied the participants of USA Gymnastics T&T JumpStart program with gymnastics apparel for their January 12-13th camp at the Karolyi Ranch in Huntsville, Texas.  The JumpStart Program "identifies future elite athletes at a young age and educates their coaches on proper fitness and skill development. GK Everyday Champion Hannah B. hails from Kailua, Hawaii.  Hannah just turned 10 years old and is a level 7 gymnast who trains at K-Bay Gymnastics. K-Bay Gymnastics is located on Marine Corps Base Hawaii where all of the athletes are military kids.

On December 19, 2010, My Kid’s Gym showcased over 300 gymnasts at the Casa San Pablo Theater in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. A special thanks to Imilka Garcia de Diaz for the following photos of the gymnastics recital.

Since 1999, National Gymnastics Day has been promoting the benefits of gymnastics to the public and encouraging kids and adults to try this great sport. Gymnastics promotes health and wellness for people of all ages.

In 2001, USA Gymnastics started several fund raising events for the Children's Miracle Network in conjunction with National Gymnastics Day. Because of the success of that event, Tyson Fitness challenge eventually became the official fund raising platform in 2006. Tyson Fitness Challenge is for kids between 4 and 16 years old. Through this, children and teenagers are encouraged to be physically fit by performing various gymnastic routines and having a healthy diet.

Last November, thousands of gymnasts and gymnastic supporters raised more that $100,000 through National Gymnastics Day open houses and the Tyson Fitness Challenge. The funds will be divided to several Children's Miracle Network hospitals.

How did you celebrate National Gymnastics Day this year? If you weren't able to participate in this year's events, you can always participate in other activities sponsored by this organization through your local gym club. Start your preparation by getting some gymnast warm ups you can wear when you practice great routines.

All of our girls compete in the 'Mystique Curls' leotard, and we have used this as our team competitive leotard for the past 2 years. Our kids compete in Acrobatic Gymnastics; we actually have 3 teams that have qualified and will be attending the Region 3 Championships on June 19th in New Orleans.

Our gym is not like many others, we teach to 'special needs' children. One of our competitive teams is a brother and sister combo (both with special needs), which will be one of the teams competing at Regionals. They just recently placed 1st at the Texas State Championship and they have been competing with the 'Regular Contenders' from the beginning. Our other two teams are also 2nd and 3rd place Texas State winners, with one team already qualifying for the Junior Olympic Natinal Championships.

To see the faces of these girls when they put their gk leotards on is extrodinary. You can just see a light switch turn on in them as if 'normal kid off-super star kid on'. I greatly enjoy working with these kids and watching them perform and grow as gymnast. Thanks gk for soaking confidence into every leo.
