Gymnastics grips are a staple at the gym. Grips are worn on each hand when a gymnast performs on the uneven bars, rings or high bar to keep the hands from slipping. They have a strip of leather that covers the palm of a gymnast's hand, secured by a Velcro or buckle wrist strap at the bottom and by the gymnast's fingers at the top.
