Alex Magsam, a Junior gymnastics competitor from North Valley Gymnastics in Phoenix, Arizona, recently chose to compete in GK for the 2012 Men’s Visa Championships that were held in St. Louis, Missouri on June 7-10.  This was Alex’s second year competing at the Visa Championships and he is one to watch in the coming years in the Senior Division. 

Alex is coached by Travis Rainer at North Valley Gymnastics, a premier gymnastics, cheer, and tumbling facility.  His involvement in gymnastics began in 2003 and was influenced by his mother’s career as a coach.  The parallel bars is Alex’s favorite event and to him the best part of gymnastics is learning new skills.
