Yuri V. is a 9-year-old gymnast from the Netherlands who always chooses GK to fulfill his gymnastics apparel needs!  He is a member of the club O&O Zwijndrecht, which is one of the best clubs for boys gymnastics in the Netherlands.  Yuri competed in the Netherlands' nationals for his age level and made it to the finals for the first time in his life.  He not only made it to the finals in one event, but three events!  He placed 7th in the All-Around and 4th on the Rings and won the silver medal on Vault!  Awesome job, Yuri!

The Maverick All Star Tumblers' Level 5 Power Tumbling Team out of Weatherford, TX, looked great as they swept the awards stand at the State Championship in their brand new GK leotards!  The team had five individual State Champions, two team awards and even qualifiers for Nationals.  Way to go Maverick All Star Tumblers!

As part of its ongoing support of the sport of gymnastics, GK supplied the participants of USA Gymnastics T&T JumpStart program with gymnastics apparel for their January 12-13th camp at the Karolyi Ranch in Huntsville, Texas.  The JumpStart Program "identifies future elite athletes at a young age and educates their coaches on proper fitness and skill development. USA Gymnastics' Trampoline and Tumbling (T&T) Olympic Development Program (ODP) is a bridge between the Junior Olympic and Junior Elite levels. The program provides a training camp, coaches' education, and an ODP team named based on ranking from the ODP Divisions at three competitions. At their recent International Exchange Camp, the athletes trained in IN STOCK women's gymnastics leotards and boy's gymnastics shirts and pants from GK.

The Junior National Developmental Gymnastics Team attended a special camp at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado on July 16-20, 2012.  Dusty Ritter, JO Program Manager, directed the camp assisted by members of the USA Gymnastics Jr. National Coaching Staff.  Twenty-eight gymnasts, ages 10-13, were invited from the Future Stars Championship/Evaluation that was held this past fall.  All athletes at the camp were outfitted with GK Gymnastics Warm Ups designating them as 2012 Team Members. 

Many of the current Junior and Senior National Team members were once part of this strategic gymnastic development and education program.  GK Elite Sportswear is a proud supporter of the USA Gymnastics Future Stars program.
